Information We Collect
- Account data: name, email, phone number, role, and credentials you provide at registration.
- Operational data: flight bookings, Hobbs/Tach entries, training progress, billing records, squawks, and messages sent through the platform.
- Technical data: IP address (hashed for analytics), browser type, and pages visited on our public website.
- Consent records: timestamp and version when you accept our Terms of Service.
How We Use Information
We use your information to operate flight scheduling, training tracking, billing, maintenance logs, transactional emails (confirmations, reminders, password resets), and school administration. We do not sell your personal information.
Email Communications
Transactional emails are sent via our email provider (Brevo) for bookings, account approval, password reset, and operational notices. You may receive emails required to use the service.
Data Storage & Security
Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure. Passwords are hashed. Access is restricted by role. No system is 100% secure; report suspected issues to Training@3vaflight.com.
Retention
Flight records, billing, and training data may be retained as required for FAA recordkeeping and business operations. You may request account deletion subject to legal retention requirements.
Your Rights
You may request access to or correction of your account information by contacting the school office. Approved users can update profile details within the application where available.
Third Parties
We use hosting (Railway), email (Brevo), and file storage (Cloudflare R2) providers to deliver the service. These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy policies.
Children
The platform is not directed at children under 13. Student pilots under 18 must have appropriate parental/guardian involvement per school policy.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above will reflect revisions.
